TANCET 2012 eligibility criteria  | Qualification MBA  TamilNadu CET  i.e TANCET is an exam conducted by Anna University. TANCET  means (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test) 2012 for admission to MBA, MCA, M.E./M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan programme in Tamil Nadu. The test is conducted at various centers through out the country.

TANCET 2012 Eligibility | Qualification MBA

• A pass in a recognised Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration and obtained at
  least 50% (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying
  examination
  (a) 10+2+3 years pattern
  (or)
  ( B) 10+3 years Diploma + 3 years pattern
  (or)
  © B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch./B.Pharm.
  (or)
  (d) AMIE with 2 years regular full time Teaching experience / Industrial experience
  in the relevant field after passing all the subjects.

• Candidates admitted through lateral entry in degree courses are not eligible except, B.E./B.Tech. degree courses

• • Candidates with B.E./B.Tech./M.C.A./M.Sc. degrees obtained through week end courses and B.E./B.Tech. through distance mode are not eligible

Candidates appearing for the final semester / year examination of the said qualifying degree course during April/ May 2012 may also apply for TANCET 2012, except AMIE
Other State candidates can also appear for the entrance test, but the eligibility conditions will be stipulated by the admitting authority / University.</p>

Reading Comprehension

• Evaluate the skill of the candidate in answering questions based on the passages in the comprehension

Verbal Reasoning

• Evaluate the skill on solving mathematical problems at graduate level (including those learnt in plus two or equivalent level.

Data Sufficiency

• Test on determining data sufficiency for answering certain questions using the given data and the knowledge of Mathematics and use of day – to – day facts.

Business Situation Analsyis (Business Decision Making)

• Test the knowledge on written English with questions on errors in usage, grammar, punctuation and the like
